Announcing Sonny Hashmi as the Newest Member of the Softrams Advisory Board
The Softrams Advisory Board welcomes its newest member, Sonny Hashmi. Sonny is a leader in public sector technology, having served as the former Federal Acquisition Service Commissioner and Chief Information Officer at the General Services Administration.

While at the General Services Administration, Sonny led strategies that resulted in massive portfolio growth and comprehensive digital transformation for the agency. His management of global acquisition, marketplace management, and solution delivery grew the agency’s annual portfolio from $75 billion to $102 billion over the course of three years. His government-wide technology transformation strategy prioritized cybersecurity, sustainability, small business enablement, and supply chain resiliency.
Sonny also brings more than twenty years of experience in the public and private sectors to the advisory board. In addition to his roles at the General Services Administration, Sonny has accumulated experience architecting and managing large-scale IT systems at private companies like Unqork, Box, IBM and Xerox, and has taught as an adjunct instructor at the Stratford University School of Business and School of Information Technology. His dedication to innovative technologies and strategies will be critical for Softrams’ direction and vision for the future.
